With Michael Olise already having completed his move to Bayern Munich this summer, could Eberechi Eze also be on his way out of Crystal Palace? The South London club face a battle to keep a hold of the attacking midfielder who returns to pre-season soon after the Euros with England, and there will be no shortage of suitors for him.

Crystal Palace are well-known as being willing to sell their star players going off of the the past, with Wilfried Zaha, Aaron Wan Bissaka, Yannic Bolasie, and most recently Olise, all being allowed to leave to bigger clubs.

However, as the club seemingly moves in a more positive direction under the new management of Austrian boss Oliver Glasner, will they continue with their previous methods or this time try to keep Eze?

Discover who the favourites are for 26-year-old's signature this summer, and all of the available Eze next club odds with OddsPortal's recommended online bookmakers.

Eze Next Club Odds

There are a few clubs very interested in signing the London born attacking midfielder, but none more so than Tottenham who sit top of the pile in the Eze next club odds.

Following a heartbreaking youth career where Eze was released by Arsenal, Fulham, Reading, and Millwall before QPR gave him a chance in their first time at just 18-years-old, Spurs are one of the only London clubs in which he hasn't played for.

He recently spoke of how difficult it was being released by Arsenal as a young player, but how much it fuelled his desire to reach where he has today. Joining North London rivals Tottenham would be one more step towards proving the Gunners wrong for letting him go at such an early age.

However, Arsenal are also one of the favourites in the running for the Crystal Palace man and could offer their hand in apology for releasing the youngster and offer him the opportunity to live his original childhood dream by donning the Gunners jersey for the first team.

The North London clubs are just a couple of teams potentially vying for Eze's signature, with Eze next club odds all shown below:

Eze Next Club Favourites

It's far from confirmed what Eze's next club will be, or where he even may be heading with very few rumours surrounding his future being revealed so far in the summer transfer window.

Expect that to ramp up significantly when the 26-year-old returns to pre-season training with Crystal Palace, and as the summer transfer window comes to a close, because it's highly likely that Eze will want to move if a top four team, or anyone in Europe was to come calling. With the departure of Olise, Eze is undoubtedly the star man at Palace, which could make a transfer difficult for all parties as the South London club may attempt to keep hold of the midfielder.

But if he is to move, these are the clubs currently in the running and favourites with the bookmakers to be Eze's next club, along with some betting bonuses you can pick up along the way too.

Tottenham

Spurs are rumoured to be strongly interested in the Englishman as they attempt to bolster their attack with more options, especially with the likes of Richarlison, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and others proving rather inconsistent in Ange Postecoglu's first season.

There's no doubt that he would be a guaranteed starter and fit the Australian's system, with plenty of room available for flair under Postecoglu's free-flowing, attacking style.

Whether that would be from the left hand side, a position which Tottenham struggled to create much output from in the 2023/24 season, or as a 10 to replace the underwhelming Maddison in the second half season, would have to be decided by Postecoglu if Eze were to transfer to the white side of North London.

Arsenal

Seeing Tottenham being the leading contenders for Eze's signature and the rumours of their interest could spark the Gunners interest in the Englishman and force them to make a move.

As we mentioned, Eze was released in his early years by Arsenal which could mean he doesn't want to return, or it could mean he would be keen to play a part in any future success on the red side of North London rather than with Tottenham as he grew up as a Gunners fan.

The big problem could be where Eze would fit in at Arsenal, especially with fabulous Martin Odegaard filling one of the midfield spots. He could play on the left hand side of a midfield three in a slightly different role, or on the left of the front three in a position where Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard both played a lot last season but neither really nailed down a starting position.

The way this would be possible is if Kai Havertz were to lead the line again for Arsenal, and Declan Rice were to be the no. 6 in the system, all things which would need to be decided by Mikel Arteta as the Gunners decide whether or not to spend big on a centre forward in the summer.

Eze would require a significant transfer fee for a player in a position that Arsenal arguably don't need right now, but if they were to make some sales it could definitely end up happening if the Gunners decided to act on any interest.

Liverpool

It appears, according to Eze next club odds with online bookmakers, that it's mainly the two North London sides who are interested in the 26-year-old. However, Liverpool could definitely show an interest with very little depth in midfield and from the left at the moment for the Reds.

Luis Diaz, although impressive in spurts and moments, had a more difficult last season and it's unknown whether new manager Arne Slot is a big fan of the Colombian or if he might be interested in signing a more permanent replacement like Eze.

There are no rumours of Liverpool being interested in signing Eze as it stands, but there is plenty of time for them to place a bid or take action if they are looking at the English international.

Man City Enter Race for Eze

According to the UK newspapers this morning on 23rd July, 2024, Manchester City are preparing a bid for Eze in the summer transfer window. The bid is expected to be upwards of £65 million as they look for a potential replacement for Kevin De Bruyne who could be on his way to a Saudi League club this summer.

Rumours that De Bruyne has agreed personal teams with Al Ittihad were supposedly untrue, but Man City could be preparing for life after the Belgian superstar with him now aged 33 and quickly coming to the end of his time at the very top level.

Injuries played a part, but it was apparent how Phil Foden was favoured more so last season than any other, with Pep Guardiola perhaps realising De Bruyne will need to be replaced soon. And it will be no easy task scoring and providing the amount that De Bruyne is able to, but City potentially see Eze as being the man to do so.

Eze can also play on the left hand side of a front three like we already said, and that was a position which neither Jeremy Doku or Jack Grealish excelled in last season, even though injuries hampered Grealish's season.

Moreover, Julian Alvarez, another who can sometimes occupy that position on the left, is rumoured to have asked to leave Man City, which would mean the Citizens need to add players to their attacking options anyway.

With the news, Eze to Man City has been slashed from a 16/1 best price yesterday to as little as 7/4 with BetMGM, BetUK, and Unibet this morning. You can still get 4/1 with William Hill if you believe that the Englishman could well be heading there with the recent news, and we recommend you grab that price while you can if you are interested!
