Both in the latter stages of their career and recently on the end of knockouts from fellow heavyweights, Joyce and Chisora will be keen to win this fight and step up to world level once again, even with 'Del Boy' now being 40-years-old.

And with Chisora seeming to be able to defy the odds time and time again, turning up and putting on a display even after 47 fights in a 20-year career, it's hard to decide which way this one will go.

It must be remembered though, Joyce is also 38-years-old and not exactly a youthful boxer that Chisora is coming up against, so we can most probably expect a slog that is likely to drag on to the later rounds, to the delight of viewers no doubt!

Keep on reading to get some insight into how online bookmakers view Joyce vs Chisora, predictions, and who is on the Joyce vs Chisora undercard this Saturday night.

Joe Joyce vs Derek Chisora Preview

The bookies have Joyce as favourite by a fair distance, and it isn't entirely surprising considering until recently when the 'Juggernaut' was brutally knocked out by Zhang, he was still considered as a dangerous world contender.

And as we all know with boxing, styles make fights and Zhang just might not be somebody who Joyce matches up well against. It mustn't also be forgotten that on Joyce's resume are victories against Joseph Parker, Daniel Dubois, and Carlos Takam, all of whom are excellent fighters with big scalps of their own.

But, as we've seen so frequently with Chisora, Joyce's history will not phase him one bit.

Additionally, it seems pretty clear that from press conferences and the build-up that Chisora has won the war of words so far, which will undoubtedly boost his confidence for a fight in which he is considered the underdog. Not that he needs it much, as he is someone who loves being written off like he has been for the vast majority of his career.

Like I touched on at the beginning of this article, we can probably expect this one to go nearly the whole distance of 10 rounds. Chisora has regularly been involved in bouts that have either gone the distance or close to it, with a decision deciding his fights with Usyk and Parker, as well as it requiring 10 and 11 rounds for Fury and Whyte to KO Del Boy.

Joyce has less experience going into the latter rounds, with Parker being the only man it took him until the 11th round to defeat, with 6th round KO and TKOs of Dubois and Takam.

But with all his experience and Joyce not exactly being fast on his feet, I'd expect Chisora to push this fight into the later rounds and take any punishment Joyce gives him, where he might fancy his chances.

Overall, like always with Chisora, we can expect fireworks in the ring and potentially a big shock from Del Boy as he takes on the Juggernaut to prove once more he is not ready to give up heavyweight boxing just yet.

Either fighter to win in rounds 10-12 (3/1 with bet365)

Both fighters to be knocked down (5/1 with Betfred)
